Fuji Apple

The fuji apple has extremely dense and firm flesh making it crisp and juicy with a honey flavour. It stores exceptionally well. It's available in Australia between April and December.

History

First bred in Japan. A cross between a Red Delicious and a Ralls Janet.

Buying

It has a blushed and dull red/yellow colour and a flat round shape.

Using

Great for eating fresh and in fruit salads because of its denseness.
