Nutty Pear Bites
Ingredients
- 1 bunch chives, chopped
- 250g skim cottage cheese (62½g per serve)
- 4 pears, cut into thin wedges or slices
- 40g walnuts or almonds, chopped
- 2 wholegrain crispbread, per person (e.g. Ryvita)
Method
- Combine the cottage cheese with the nuts and chives, then place into crackers.
- Top with thin slices or wedges of fresh pear.
- Lightly saute the pears in a teaspoon of honey and a tablespoon white balsamic until golden.
- Use the cottage cheese mix as a dip for pear wedges.
